Maylene & The Sons of Disaster or, more simply, Maylene, is a southern metal band that is based in Birmingham, Alabama. They are fronted by Dallas Taylor, the former frontman of Underoath. Their songs are so awesome. They are so bad ass. His vocals fit the music pretty well. They have two full-length albums available. The first is a self-titled album and the second is simply called "II." I've have yet to get out and see them live, but it's on my list of things to do.
My Favorite Track: I'm not gonna lie, "Dry The River" is for sure my favorite song by Maylene. It's off of "II."
On Tour: They're going on tour with Clutch starting on May 6th.
